Simple Secrets to Great Communication #2 - Start With Why!

Whether talking with another person or presenting to a group of hundreds, we usually communicate from the outside in. 

The outside ring of our communications target is the "What". We talk easily about what we do or what facts, figures, and information we believe are important. 

Our second ring is the "How". We may talk about how something was accomplished or how we should move forward. 

Rarely do we talk about the most important ring: the bullseye of "Why".

As an example, consider this 30-second elevator speech:
